Fischer&Fischer SN/SL 270 AMT are floorstanding two-way speakers with bass reflex.
Custom-made tweeters from German manufacturer Mundorf operate on the AMT (Air Motion Transformer) principle, and for each pair, two pieces are individually measured and selected from a larger number within a narrow tolerance range. They use powerful neodymium magnets and a Kapton diaphragm, which (thanks to its large active surface area folded into an accordion shape) provides excellent cooling and high load capacity while maintaining extremely low weight.
Two 146 mm mid-bass drivers from Norwegian manufacturer SEAS, arranged in a D'Appolito configuration, feature CURV membranes (a special technologically sintered braided polypropylene impregnated with resin). The open system with a center diffuser improves the directional properties of the driver, and direct air access ensures high-quality cooling of the coil even under heavy load, without compression of dynamics due to overheating. Thanks to their sophisticated design, the cast magnesium baskets provide excellent ventilation from the rear while minimizing any acoustic noise.
Rhodium-plated terminals for connecting cables from the prestigious manufacturer RSV Ruhstrat are installed on an anti-resonance plate made of solid aluminum.The speakers are custom-made in Germany, with the frame made from half a billion-year-old, premium slate. The SN version is made from natural slate slabs with a surface texture resembling natural quarried stone. The SL version has a sound box made of surface-ground slabs, painted in a color of your choice from the RAL palette. Magnetic cover grilles can be purchased as an accessory, and the systems can stand on flexible, self-adhesive pads or on spikes with cups, for which there is a threaded mounting preparation in the base.
