SN/SL 1000.1 AMT

Fischer&Fischer SN/SL 1000.1AMT are four-way floorstanding speakers with bass reflex, consisting of four parts.
The specially developed and custom-made tweeter from German manufacturer Mundorf uses AMT (Air Motion Transformer) technology, and for each pair, two pieces are individually measured and selected from a larger number within a very narrow tolerance range. Strong neodymium magnets and a Kapton diaphragm are used, which (thanks to its large active surface area folded into an accordion shape) provides excellent cooling and high load capacity while maintaining extremely low weight.
Two 180 mm mid-bass drivers from German manufacturer Ehmann&Partner, arranged in a D'Appolito configuration, feature a sandwich diaphragm composed of a combination of carbon, paper, and carbon foil, powered by the strongest neodymium magnets available. The open system with an aluminum center diffuser improves the directional properties of the driver, and direct air access ensures high-quality cooling of the coil even under heavy load, without compression of dynamics due to overheating.
Two 220 mm bass drivers located on the front panel and two 260 mm sub-bass drivers installed in modules opposite each other (Ehmann&Partner) have a sandwich membrane made of carbon, paper fibers, and special synthetic foam. Thanks to their sophisticated design, the cast magnesium baskets provide excellent ventilation from the rear while minimizing any acoustic noise.
Rhodium-plated terminals for connecting cables from the prestigious manufacturer RSV Ruhstrat are installed on anti-resonance plates made of solid aluminum, cable connectors and all internal cabling contain pure silver conductors.
The speakers are custom-made in Germany, and the frame is made of half a billion-year-old, first-class slate. The SN version is made of natural slate slabs with a surface structure resembling natural stone. The SL version has a cabinet made of surface-ground slabs, painted in a choice of RAL colors. Magnetic grilles are available as an optional extra. Each system is installed on a heavy, solid aluminum base that limits the transmission of vibrations to the building structure. It is finished with spherical stainless steel spikes set in anti-resonance cups.
